We have updated our team along with past, current and future projects. Horizons is now almost exclusively focusing on Video,Film & Theater Production.
In the past 18 months my Play “The BenchMark” about homelessness has been staged twice first at The Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago by Step Up Productions and then this past Fall by Arts Live in Waukegan,Illinois. My latest play “Thee Trinity”,a religious satire was work shopped at City Lit Theatre in Chicago and has a limited but fully staged run planned for later this Spring/Summer in Waukegan,Illinois. The exact dates times & location to be announced.
We also recently completed a new Documentary Short for Sacred Space International that focuses on interfaith cooperation between various faith traditions. Considering the often intolerant & even violent world we live in, I have taken particular pride in this project.
Another recent project was a Documentary Short on 87 year old WWII veteran and Silver Star, Purple Heart Award winner Larry Klairmont who lied about his age to enlist. He eventually became a successful businessman upon leaving the Army almost penniless in 1945. He went on to put enormous time, energy & resources into collecting over 400 Classic Cars. His “Kollection” as he and his Fiance/Partner Joyce Oberlander call it, is now one of the premier collections of it’s kind in the US, rivaling even Jay Leno’s.
Finally I am one of 3 producers on the small independent feature film “Overture” written by talented local screenwriter Michael Chatlien. We have been in the fund development stage on this film for some time now. However trying to raise money from investors is always a challenge even with Oscar Nominated & Golden Globe winning actress Kathleen Turner, signing an option to play a lead role. Of course anyone interested in learning more about this film should email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
