Mallory Sohmer PRODUCER/DIRECTOR

Mallory Sohmer is a producer and director with a versatile background spanning the film, television and commercial worlds. Her independent film The Living Documents chronicled the experiences of a human rights activist in Nicaragua and was broadcast on The Documentary Channel and Central American television networks. She has produced commercial work for clients such as Turtle Wax, Big Lots, United, Samsung, Hanes and more. For HBO Go, Sohmer produced the 7-episode series Single Long, part of HBO’s first venture into original digital programming. Known for her strong storytelling abilities she’s produced and directed many case studies, documentary shorts, profile and behind the scenes videos for businesses and organizations. She is an alumna of Columbia College Chicago.
